The GasAlertClip Extreme SO2 monitor is a 2 year maintenance free monitor. It provides protection around the clock without having to do any maintenance to the monitor. The bright LCD screen will keep you notified on how much life you have left on the monitor in months, days and hours. Sulfur Dioxide is a nonflammable, colorless gas with a very strong odor. Some say it smells like burning matches. With its strong odor there usually is plenty of warning it is in the air. Sulfur Dioxide usually affects the respiratory systems. It can be just irritating or can cause failure. So if your application includes Sulfur Dioxide we would recommend the use of a Sulfur Dioxide Monitor. Monitor does not readout current SO2 levels, but alerts the wearer when it registers Low and High alarm levels.
